Plain annealed Copper Conductor (Water tight) to meet the requirements of IEC 60840
Types of Conductor construction :
- Circular Compacted for Sizes 240 Sq.mm - 800 Sq.mm
- Segmental Compacted for 1000 Sq.mm and above .
Water Blocking (Water tight ) Conductor shall be achived by water blocking tapes applied over each layer of conductor strands to avoid water ingress inside the conductor . Suitable bnder tapes shall be provided over the conductor to prevent the extruded semiconducting layer falling between the intersitices of the conductor strands.
