Application
Cu/PVC are insulated flexible copper conductors used for fixed protected installations indoors for power supply or lightings (from offices, domestic or commercial buildings ...) with voltage ≤ 1000V AC or ≤ 750 V DC .
- Conductor
Stranded bare copper class 5 to BS EN 60228.
- Insulation
Polyvinyl chloride "PVC"
Installation
In conduit, insulated support, ducts... in coverd and dry place.
Packing
The packing will be in coils with 100m.
Marking
450/750 V Cu/PVC 1x < CSA> mm2 H07V-K EN 50525-2-31 Made In Qatar QICC - Nexans
Permissible current and voltage drop are given
For conductor laid alone in insulating tube on a wall Temperature = 30°C.
Permanent operation If conditions are different, apply correction factors from IEC 60364-5-52 standard or other equivalent national standard Voltage drop Calculated with cosj = 0,8
